The Magic Garden - Powerful relaxation technique to help riders achieve a deep sense of calm.

Learn how to use visualisation to help you move from the anxious state to the calm, relaxed you! There will be a brief explanation to start, then join us in a wonderful guided visualisation into a Magic Garden. This exercise is a powerful way to utilize the power of visualisation. There will be a short Q & A at the end.
This visualisation is specifically aimed at those riders who suffer from anxiety, tension and negative emotions in regard to riding. One of the goals is to help riders lean how to detach themselves from the negative emotions and give them the ability to develop a new strategy to help them in their desire to realise their equestrian dreams. This exercise is especially powerful when used in conjunction with other mental strategies such as anchoring (which we cover in many other talks and will be covered today).
Dr. Elisha Goldstein's research study in 2005 demonstrated that subjects who spent a short amount of time (around 5 min) per day practicing this form of guided meditations/viualisation reported significant reduced stress levels and enhanced feeling of well-being.
