3 Day Confidence Camp - INSCH, Scotland 2025

CONFIDENCE CAMP AT LADY LUCK EQUESTRIAN!

We have another great confidence camp planned again this year at Lady Luck!  The camp is designed to boost your confidence and for you to enjoy being part of a small, supportive group, plus of course, having fun with your horse!  It doesn't matter what stage of riding you are at, many of our riders come on their first day and are anxious just to get on board, others are confident until it comes to cantering or going over poles. We just take it all slowly and use lots of mental strategies to get back into the saddle and enjoy the riding.

However...this is a SMALL group!  We aim for 6 or 7 horses/riders only.  We want to ensure you get the most out of camp with tons more individual attention than pretty much any other camp around!  

Those that have been here before, Lady Luck Equestrian is the unicorn of venues! Everything you need is conveniently nestled under one huge roof.  This includes the stables, arena, meeting room, kitchen, toilet, gallery, etc. 

We've been organizing these camps for over 15 years in the UK and Ireland and we run them to help build positivity and nurture confidence, for riders to have a blast and make new friends!  Why don't you join us?       

Cost for this camp:  £350 TO INCLUDE ALL FOOD, ALL LESSONS, BIG STABLES, ALL CONFIDENCE STRATEGIES & RIDER PACK.

What are you getting when you come on a CHR Camp?

~ Stabling in a large undercover modern barn, fully matted with bedding already down.

~ Sessions intergrating the psychology work we will be covering. 

~ Lessons will cover flatwork, poles and jumping. (Although you can opt for flat & poles on the ground if you don't want to jump).

~ Food is provided. Tea, coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day.   

~ Hook up at £10 per day. (Limited amount)

~ Kitchen available to everyone.

~ Indoor and outdoor arenas, we can use whichever the weather dictates although we do tend to use the rather LUSH indoors!

~ Rider psychology discussions throughout including mindfulness, NLP, hypnotherapy, etc.

~ Rider packs included.

Sarah Smart from EQUIPHORIA will be attending again on the Saturday.  She will be doing a short talk and you can book her for tack/bit checking.  She has a crazy amount of experience and knowlege, so I urge you to book a little time after the talk.

Bedding Down: Stables are fully matted and so there's already a touch of coziness awaiting your horse. If your orse prefers a grander bed, feel free to bring extra bedding or buy some from our on-site stash. Note: Shavings are a no-go, but that's fine – we've got alternatives like Hill Meadow Shredded Cardboard (£8), Puffin Pellets (£8), and Aubiose (£12). 

Hay: Please bring your own hay or haylage, as we won't have any available on site. Your horse's dining preferences are essential, and we want them to munch happily throughout the camp.  Hay is also available at the feed store just a few minutes down the road.

Sleeping:  Whether it's in your lorry,  your trailer, or our dry and delightful meeting room, you've got options. If you opt for the meeting room, don't forget your camp bed, pillow, and sleeping bag! Be prepared if you are in the meeting room, it is a 'shared' space!  But you will be too tired to care!

Horses &/or Riders Staying Away: We have had horses that live close by and they have gone back at night.  If you feel your horse would be much better off in it's own stable, we completely understand, however, in the spirit of everyone joining in at camp, we hope you can bring your horse as there is often quite a lot of natter, coffee and good times whilst mucking out!  If you live close by and also want to pop home for the night, again, that's fine and this has worked in the past.  However, being part of a small group means we all spend time helping each other by being there, supporting and making new friends.  If you cannot stay the night, please do arrange that you can stay for the early part of the evening (having supper, chatting, getting to know each other) and also that you arrive early enough in the morning so you are very much part of this group.  We will always fine a little job for you!  Please be aware, the price will remain the same, as this covers the hire of the venue.
