We are exc ited to announce a new Confidence Camp at Downlands Equestrian! This camp is designed to enhance your confidence\, offering a welcoming and supporti ve environment where you can bond with your horse and enjoy a fantastic ex perience. Whether you're just starting out or working to overcome specific fears\, this camp is for you. Many of our riders come to camp feeling nervous about even mounting their horse\, while others are anxious about c antering or jumping poles\, but by the end of the weekend\, all riders lea ve feeling more confident and positive. We take a gentle approach\, using a variety of mental strategies to help you rediscover your love for riding . Having organised these camps across the UK and Ireland for over 17 yea rs\, we are dedicated to nurturing positivity\, building confidence\, and helping riders have a blast while making lasting friendships. Why not come and join us? Cost for the Camp: £350This includes all lessons\, perman ent stabling\, bedding (straw)\, hay\, demos\, food\, confidence strategie s sessions\, and a rider pack. Deposit: £100 (to be paid via BACS). The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the camp. Non-riding friends or p artners wishing to join the confidence sessions are welcome for £75 and c an participate in any of the sessions. What you can expect from a CHR Camp: Stabling in a modern\, under cover barn\, with bedding already provided. Group lessons that incorpora te all the psychological work we cover. Lessons will include flatwork\, poles\, and jumping (you can opt for flatwork and poles if you prefer not to jump). Food is included. \; \; Hook-up available for £15 p er day (limited spaces). Access to both indoor and outdoor arenas\, a cr oss-country course\, and beautiful hacking trails. Rider psychology disc ussions covering mindfulness\, NLP\, hypnotherapy\, and more.
